NIM 1967-48

Manufactured by Attenborough and Co. of Beeston, between 1900 and 1920, this lace machine was based on the flat braider and produces perfect copies of hand-made pillow lace edgings. The pattern is defined by the Jacquared cards and the laces come out as circular tubes, flattened once the thiner drawn threads along the edge are removed.
