Developed with East Midlands Geological Association, resource contains minerals and fossils with information on forms of rocks, rock cycles, fossil formation, geological timescale and map of Western Europe. With a UV light-box – for noting changes in the fluorescent rocks when exposed to different forms of light – rocks and minerals include Plesiosaur, ammonite, trilobite, sandstone, limestone, slate, fluorite, ruby, common opal, amethyst and citrine samples.
Activity pack meets National Curriculum requirement for Science, Key Stage 1 – 3.
