A culmination of project work to commemorate the bicentenary of the ‘Abolition of the Slave Trade Act’ in 1807. Inspired by Nottingham Castle Museum’s ‘Wedgwood Collection’, young people from Nottingham’s Afro-Caribbean community designed ceramic artwork (currently on display in the Castle Museum). Resource comprises six A1 exhibition panels, as well as reproduction of the ‘Globe of Freedom’.

Activity pack meets National Curriculum requirement for English, Art and Design, Geography, History and Drama, Key Stage 1 – 3.
