NCM 1911-54

This poster calls for information on the burning of Nottingham Castle in 1831. The building was attached by looters when the owner, the Duke of Newcastle, opposed the Reform Act which would have delivered changes to the voting system. The castle was opened as a museum and art gallery in 1878.
