NCM 1985-770/34

1880-1900 Made on a stocking frame in coloured cottons and silks. The front of this shirt appears to be marked out for embroidering the badge of the Salvation Army which, with the crosses, suggests that it might have been intended for William Booth, who was born in Nottingham, the Army’s founder.
