Original objects and information telling the story of the pioneering Derbyshire nurse, Florence Nightingale. Resource contains information and images on her life and the Crimean War, as well as activities and card for each item. Activities specifically developed for Key Stage 1 although resource applicable to all age groups.

Box includes: original newspapers and magazines; medicine bottles; cleaning equipment; embroidery samplers; writing equipment; original and replica medals; cooking objects; taxidermy specimen; costume objects and a puppet of Florence herself.
