European lobster (Homarus gammarus)

European lobsters can weigh up to 10 kg and live for over 70 years. They live in the cold and temperate waters of the eastern North Atlantic. Lobsters emerge at night to feed on crabs which they seize in the cutting claw and then break open with the crushing claw.
